They are mostly for casual use, so they will look extremely out of place in a formal setting or in an elaborate social gathering such as engagements, weddings and family parties. Having said that, clog boots are best for worn when going out for shopping, for evening parties with friends or when traveling. They are mostly preferred when weather is cold, although you can wear them whenever you like no matter the weather.

Clog Pull Up Boots

These look like boots from the front, but have open backs. They are a hybrid of boots and sandals, also known as booties in some circles. They are slip-on types, so you just slip them on and get on with your tasks. They are perfect for casual wear due to their close resemblance to clog boots and can be worn in both summers and winters. They are the best choice for those who feel suffocated in boots or want to have an alternative pair that gives off the boot vibes.

Clog Heels

Clog heels is a very vague term because it encompasses most clog footwear that comes with heels such as booths and sandals. However, when talking about heels, we generally picture them as heel shoes, which are neither boots, not sandals. Because wood is used as a base for clog footwear, clog heels don’t come with pointy tips like stilettos. Even if some sellers sell clog variants of stilettos, they use other materials to create the pointy tips will keeping the original wooden base. Normal clog heels come with wide tips and high heels to bring out the elegance that matches a pair of non-clog heels. They are generally used for parties, casual wear, and social gatherings. It can be used for formal wear, although clog sandals would be a much better option.
