Why Wooden Clog Boots Are Important Part Of Teacher’s Wardrobe

As soon as I graduated from my college, I applied for teaching jobs in various schools. I have always liked kids and admired my teachers throughout my life. I believe there is no job like that of a teacher as they selflessly give away all their knowledge to keep you updated and make you stand on your feet financially. This liking of mine made me work towards becoming a teacher myself.

I relentlessly studied for the examination that is one needs to qualify in order to become a teacher and finally got my certificate that made me eligible for junior classes. I was excited to be amidst students all day long and prepared for it a night before. I took out my best outfit that would decently pass me off as a teacher and a pair of matching heels to go with it. Little did I know of what was about to happen to my feet?

I walked into the class and started my day on a very enthusiastic note. After a few hours of standing and playing with my kids I realized I had a massive ache in my calves. I ignored this situation for a few days until the situation got grave.

Having made a few friends in school, I discussed this with them. They smiled and said that they had also gone through the same thing in the beginning. One of them told me this was because of the choice of my footwear and the fact that I had to stand for long hours in them while teaching.

She suggested that during a free period I should long on to the Internet and buy some wooden clog boots for starters. I did as I was told. I was never a fan of clog boots but from what I saw on the Internet, my perception changed immediately. Being a shopaholic at heart I immediately invested in 3 of them that would go with almost all my work outfits.

It is since then that I have suggested all the newcomers to wear wooden clog boots as a mandate for our profession. The kids can be taught only when they have active and healthy teachers present at all times with them.

The Real Reasons Why You Should Own At least One Pair of Wooden Clog Sandals

A lot has been written about owning a pair of wooden clog sandals over a period of time. Some talk about why you should own them and other about why you can forgo buying a pair. Nothing that I say or write should convince you to buy a pair of clogs, and that’s why I share my own experience of wearing wooden sandals every day for past 4 years of my life.

Firstly these pair of wooden sandals owns a legacy and have a story to tell. They have been around for a long time as a footwear option being the only constant when everything else in the fashion world kept on changing. Imagine being a part of that league!

It was 4 years back when one of my friends introduced me to wooden clog sandals. I hardly thought of them to be appealing until I walked into the store and experienced it for myself. The plethora of color options available changed my views about the stereotypical notion I had in my head about clog sandals.

Each and every item present in the store was fashionable and could be easily worn with any outfit looking like a perfect match. They're perfect transition shoe in that they're open in back but have a closed toe, perfect for these early fall days with chilly mornings and warm afternoons.

Secondly, most of the physical therapists recommend wearing clogs for those who have a back problem or suffer from posture issues. The make of the shoes is such that it forms a uniform platform for you to rest your feet on without having to arch them like heeled shoes.

At first, the shoes might fit tight and give you a little discomfort when you walk, but ultimately the leather upper opens up and forms the perfect shape of the foot making it comfortable for you to walk in it all day long.

Moreover, the wooden sole is easily repairable unlike other footwear options. All you need is the rugged piece of paper that can smoothen the chipped ends saving you a lot of time and money that you might otherwise spend on visiting your cobbler.

If you think wooden clogs are suitable for you, here's something that will convince you to go for handmade Swedish clog sandals.
